Lucky 4U

This week at Scrap It With A Song we are using the song, "Lucky" by Jason Mraz. Such a great song!!!

Lucky 4U

I am extremely grateful for this little guy. We almost lost my little Mason when he was a baby due to a strep infection. When I am down and I feel like nothing is going my way, I think of him and this miracle.

Try the challenge, the lyrics are up on the blog. This week we are being sponsored by Toucan Scraps -you could be the winner!

Sadly, this is my last post as a DT member for Scrap It With A Song. My life is just a little too busy these days, I needed to scale down a bit. I had a wonderful time and I love all the inspiration and ideas I've gotten through the challenges. I'm sure I will continue to play along.

My, oh my!

I have a few more projects to share with you using the main kit from the Sweet Peach Crop Shop.
You may have noticed that huge black flower in the kit. Well, its from Teresa Collins and it really works as a hair clip!! How cool is that? I let my daughter wear it to school for a day before I needed it for a LO.

Here it is again...

Kenzie

I used sketch 87 for this LO.

Oh My!

This is my cute little nephew, Jackson. He was so cute eating his pumpkin sucker while feeding his cheeks and forehead.

Enjoy your feast tomorrow!!

Winter Wonderland??

This week at Scrap It With A Song we are using the song Winter Wonderland as our inspiration. I can't even tell you who originally sang it, it's been redone by dozens, maybe hundreds of singers. LOL! I took a few words from the lyrics and used them for an everyday, sunny page -not wintery at all.

Frolic and Play

This is our sweet dog Sunny. She plays soccer all over the yard and neighborhood using her nose. It is so funny, she does it all day long. I've seen people driving by really slow, just amused at her athletism. She's a silly girl.

Try the challenge this week, it just may get you in the Christmas mood...or if you're like me, let the lyrics inspire you to think outside of the norm. You can see more examples using this song on the blog HERE.

Sketch 91

Hello there scrappy gals...and guys! I hope you had a great weekend. It snowed over the weekend here in northern Utah. Feels like we skipped Autumn and went straight for Winter. As long as I don't have to drive in it I'm ok. It was very pretty!!
I have a sketch for you with some beautiful examples from the DT:

Nikki Sivils GDT!

Today I am featured on the Nikki Sivils blog as this month's guest designer!! They sent me a generous box of goodies to play with which included the Willow Bee and My Friend Bordie collection. Love them!!! Here is what I created for my GDT duties:

Bee-autiful

I made this LO using the Willow Bee line and canvas buttons -also from Nikki Sivils.

Best Buds

For this LO I used the My Friend Birdie line. I cut the center out of the round die cut paper and stitched a criss cross pattern to add a little more dimention.

Create

This is also from the My Friend Birdie collection. I think my 3 yr old is going to be an architect when he grows up. He really does designs the BEST buildings out of blocks.

I am truly honored. You can see the post on Nikki Sivils HERE!

A whole lotta' Glitz

I cannot begin to tell you how much fun I had with the November main kit from
Sweet Peach Crop Shop. The majority of the papers are from the Glitz Designs "Scarlett" collection. You'll also find papers from Girls Paperie, GCD Studios, Jillibean and MME. I had to go out and do a little photo shoot with my kids, the photos I had just wouldn't do these beautiful papers justice.
Photobucket

Here are a few of my creations:

Aren't these Flora Doodles flowers from Petaloo just the coolest? Add those with the Zva crystal flourishes and you have the perfect pair.
I love my cute boys!!

This is my beautiful Sidney. She just turned 10 and she's prettier than ever! The butterflies do not come with the kit but everything else does including the Glitz polka dot rubons.

Enjoy your day! Today is my only day off this week so I know I will. :)

I've got a toot!!

I have some exciting news to share! I made the DT for a manufacturing company called Cheery Lynn Designs! Woopee!!!! I am soooo excited! They have a huge assortment of dies and embossing plates which are compatible to most table-top die cut machines. I use a Sizzix and it'll work perfect! You have got to check them out! I can't wait to share with you my creations using their wonderful products!
You can see the rest of the chosen DT members on their BLOG.

Thanks for letting me toot my horn!

It's Easy as 123!!

This week on the Scrap It With A Song challenge blog we are using the song "ABC...its easy as 123" from non other than the Jackson 5 as our inspiration . Its a shame their big hair has gone out of style. :) I love this song!!
I took a different approach to the song and I counted backwards for my title. I felt that no actual words were needed. :) This is my sleeping little cowboy.

Play along, this week you can win 5 digi images from Sew Many Cards!!
