Who's Ready for Fall?

Hello! This is sadly my final post for Cheery Lynn Designs. When it came time to re-apply or not, I chose not to. Like I wrote before, my load just got to be too much. I assure you I will use CDL dies in my day-to-day projects, I REALLY do love these dies and the company. Once you work with the best there's no going back. :)

I don't know about you but I've got Fall fever! I love waking up to the crisp cool air and seeing the leaves begin to change. I made a layout using the super-detailed Dimensional Leaves dies.

I arranged the leaves as if they are floating off the Autumn tree. To make the tree I used several sized circles from the Little Stackers Nesting Dies. I used the twig shaped arms from the Frosty The Snowman die to make a few branches. (I love that trick:))

Other dies used on this layout:
Basic Optimistic Font alphas
Grass Border
Never Ending Love Hearts
Apple

(Papers from this layout are Crate Paper from the October kit at Birds Of A Feather.)

.........................................................................................

I just HAD to make a Halloween card using some of Cheery Lynn Design's cute Halloween dies.

The Silly Spider is just adorable, I couldn't wait to use him. I hung him from a string (think web) and centered him in a black English Tea Party Doily die.

(These papers are Best Creation's Happy Haunting collection.)

My Sweet Boys

My last post featured papers from the new October kit at Birds Of A Feather. Today I have a few more projects to share using the same WONDERFUL kit. I can't tell you how much I love this kit already...its great for back to school, Fall photos or in this case... pictures of my favorite two little boys playing in the waterfall. They are so sweet, I just love them to pieces!

I also made a card for someone who I recently moved away from but she really made an impact on my life in such a short time. Its great to have such wonderful friends.

You can get your kit HERE, it is full of Crate Paper goodnes! You won't be sorry, you'll love this kit.

Apple Of My Eye

Well, hello! Today I want to share another layout using dies from my favorite die company, Cheery Lynn Designs. For this project I kept the design very simple because I wanted the focus to be on the dies.

I used several of the flourishes and flower dies to create this flowing cluster of goodness. ;)

I added the apple, heart and key die to pull my theme all together.

I used the beautiful flourish ends of the gorgeous Lace Rose and Flourish die on either side of my floral cluster to draw an end with the eye.

Other dies used:
French Flair Nesting Die
Snowflake Edger
Garden Gate
Darling Daisies
Sweet Williams Flower
Judy's Blooms
Stacker Flower Leaf
Pretty Petal
Heart Chain Border

(Like the papers? Its Crate Paper from the new October kit at Birds Of A Feather!)

Till next time, have a scrap-happy day!!

Celebrating Dad

There is no one like my dad. I love him to pieces!!! This is a layout I made of him on Father's Day. We had such a great time gathered together as a family honoring him.

I used the September kit from Birds Of A Feather on this one. By the way, the October kit has just been revealed on the Birds Of A Feather website and you are just going to LOVE IT!!! I know I do!

Birds Of A Feather PLUS a sketch!

Happy Monday all! This month's kit from Birds Of A Feather is one of my favorite kits ever! I am usually not a "pink" person but these patterned papers from Echo Park and all of the yummy matching embellies are just divine.
I made two more layouts with this gorgeous kit and a matching sketch for this one, just to give you some inspiration.

These are two of my beautiful nieces. They are 21 years apart and both naturually beautiful.

Don't you just love this soft, feathered flower? It's in the kit...;)

And one more closeup...

I used several of the French Paastry doily dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. I scrunched them all up to make this ruffled look under the circle.

I'll share another Birds Of A Feather layout tomorrow.

Boston

Hi and happy Monday! This month I will be taking a break from the monthly sketch challenge. I may post a sketch now and then but I won't have any examples from the design team and there will not be a sponsor. This month is going to be soooooo busy for me that something had to give.

Just so you're not too disappointed with me, here is this month's sketch that I made for Scrapnart online magazine.

Here is my layout using the sketch. I also used this month's Birds Of A Feather kit.

This is my adorable little nephew, Boston.

I'll add Mr. Linky below just for fun so others can see your layout using the sketch.
Have fun!

Cheery Lynn Designs Hello card

Hi and happy Thursday! Today I want to share a card I made using Cheery Lynn Designs dies and this cute paper from Echo Park. (The papers and stickers are in the Birds Of A Feather Sept kit.)

I love the way the Little Pink Bicycle complements the lamp post sticker. It really makes a cute scene. I embossed the top part of the card with the Petite Hearts embossing plate and the Embossing pads. Finally, I added a few Darling Daisies and a cut out of the Dotties Ric Rac border.

Have a nice day!
