Reveal Week with My Creative Scrapbook

The March kits from My Creative Scrapbook are here and they are FABULOUS! I had the privilege of playing with the Main kit which featured papers from My Mind's Eye (one of my all-time FAVES).

Gorgeous, right??


For this look, I cut the striped/diamond paper to make extra large arrows for my background. The colors in those stripes were a little bright so I lightly brushed them with a white wash to blend more into the wood grain background.

Beach Love

After Christmas we went to the beach for a little get-away as a family. We had a glorious time! Here I scrapped about our love for the beach and, of course, each other.

February My Creative Scrapbook Reveal

My husband and I took our kids to Chincoteague Island in Maryland a day after Christmas this year. Of course it wasn't ideal beach weather but it wasn't too bad. The kids got their feet wet and the sun was warm. The idea was just to get away from the world for a few days, it was a much needed, pleasant break.

Practical Scrappers SKETCH

Hello sketch fans! I have my last sketch for Practical Scrappers to share with you today. I have been with Practical Scrappers for a very long time so this is bittersweet but I have to be realistic with my use of time. Life is just so very busy now and I have to put my focus in the right places. I have LOVED being apart of their team and I will continue to stock their blog for all of the amazing examples of paper crafting.

Snow Day with My Creative Scrapbook

kids are back at school after the long Holiday break so I finally have some time to post about the new January kit from My Creative Scrapbook.
This is the Main kit that I had the pleasure of creating with:

This kit includes goodies from Fancy Pants's Timbergrove collection. Fancy Pants is quickly becoming one of my favorite manufacturers. Their stuff is just so darn cute and fun to create with.

I bought my kids this fun little snowboard a few years ago to ride down the hill in our backyard on. The weather has been so strange that they haven't been able to use it much, until this year.






To make the wood elements really shimmer, I colored them with a silver metallic pen and then painted them with my daughter's glittery nail polish. Haha! That'll teach her to leave her stuff out. ;)
