Happy St. Patrick's Day! Make sure you wear your green, we don't want you to get any pinches today!
I am having so much fun with the new doilies from Cheery Lynn Designs. For my most recent LO I grabbed the English Tea Party doily die, cut out the center circle, opened it up and ruffled it around my large circle. It really looks like pretty black lace!
I will be the first to say that I do not like pastel colors too much. So I used some bolder colors for this LO of my new nephew and you know what?...it works! No "baby" colors needed. :)
Here is my complete list of dies used for this project:
Little Stacker Nesting Die - Circles
Buttons3 die
Optimistic Font Alphabet Dies
Mantel Decorations
Embossed Loves Me, Loves Me Not Border die
Hearts1 die
Remember: Play along this month and you could win a few beautiful doily dies of your own!

This page is gorgeous. I love the black with the baby pictures. For me no pastels too.
I have got to get my hands on that doily die! - That is gorgeous...and you are right !....it does look like lace! I'm with you...love the brights!
I love this layout. I don't usually ask personal questions; but what kind of paper did you use for your doily? Hopefully my e-mail is present for you to respond.
Ooooooh! Loving the black doily lace. You're right, these are fabulous colors!
This is LOVELY!
Oh, I agree...these color combos here ROCK! Love that doilie work..wish I had a diecutter that it would work with!didist
Bonnie, I used "black magic" Core'dinations cardstock. The cardstock has a green backing which shows through when sanded.
Love how you did the doiley - looks fabulous
