Die-Versions BLOG HOP

Welcome to our first ever BLOG HOP!
I have really enjoyed being on this DT thus far...the dies are amazing! They are so intricate and they cut really super smooth.
I have so many favorites but this Bug Jar die, (which obviously can be used as a cute canning jar), is on the top of my favorites list.

I have also loved the recent Die-Versions releases that focus on boys. The scrapbooking industry tends to lean towards girly themes with a floral focus (hey, I love flowers myself) but it's nice for us parents of boys to have more options.

Dies used on layout:
Boys Will Be Boys cube
Super Stars Wee Petites
Triangle Corner Concepts
Cow Sweet Petite

We have some AWESOME prizes if you participate in our hop.

Here are the details:

Hoppers will need to comment on all the blog stops and then on the last stop (store blog) tell us which die out of all the projects they have seen was their favorite. The winners will be randomly chosen from the design teams blogs so make sure to comment on ALL stops as well as on Facebook to increase your chances of winning.
End date is Sept 22nd.

Grand Prize - $50 gift certificate to be used in the store
AND
5 lucky participants will receive $10 gift certificate
to be used in the store

Hi - it's true about boy themed things BUT the recent SPORTS dies are great! Thanks for the great ideas!

Wonderful card, and fabulous layout! I agree about the industry catering to the more girly things. The variety for boys does seem to be much better now than in the past, though. Love that new die you used for your layout!

Love the bug jar and your boy page is adorable. That was always a pet peeve when I scrapbooked - there were so few options for boys (it's better now though).

Liz, what darling card and LO - your boys are so cute! I thought for sure the jar would have bugs your boys had collected LOL - wonderful card to show off the detail of the jar, and delightful "all boys" motif in your LO. hugs, de

Nice card, only I had put something in the jar, so people can't say love is like an empty jar, LOL!

Your projects are wonderful. You don't see a lot of things for boys and this is really cute. The bug jar is wonderful as well. Would be cute with some firefly's too. Oh the possibilities. :)

Both projects are wonderful...my favorite being the bug jar!!!

Liz,

I love both of your projects. I can use the jar for mom type things and even for boy themes using it with the dies you used with the boys themed page. Bugs, butterflies, ants can go in the jar and the jar can be decorated with flags and arrows. These can all tie together and make many great projects. Thank you!

I love the bug jar. Need to get one. My Girl Scouts have to do a bug badge and this would make a perfect scrapbook page with the jar.

This is a very cute boys layout. You are so right - there must be at least 5 times as much for girls than for boys out there! I also loved the boys theme dies. I like the way you used geometrical adornments to the photo. Really, really nice. Ute-HH
