Sand in our Toes

Hello, I have more layouts to share using the Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

I love these floral elements and patterned paper from this month's kit. Also check out the fun wood plaques! LOVE!

This is my last month with My Creative Scrapbook as a designer. I may still provide sketches but I need a little time to pursue other things right now. I have LOVED designing for them, there hasn't been a kit that I haven't loved. Pam really has a talent for putting together amazing kits!!

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time...

My Creative Scrapbook June kit

Check out this month's Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook! It is bright with a summer/beachy theme and I love it!! I think you will too.

I took this photo of my girls on the beautiful island on Chincoteague. Being from California, I feel at home anywhere beachy and coastal.
For the design on this layout I used paper strips (which would work well with leftover scraps) and layered them to create the look. I see ribbon placed like this on digital pages a lot but I wanted to try it on an actual page and I think it worked!

For this layout I based the design on a sketch by Ashley Horton Designs. I love the look of the scattered triangles.

Get a kit of your own and check out the reveal from the amazing design team HERE.

My Favorite Things

I got to play with the Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook this month. What fun, this kit is so versatile, I scrapped pictures of my boys and girls. Sometimes I am only able to do one or the other.

For this layout I pulled out my little scissors and fussy cut many of the flowers from the floral paper provided.

My youngest daughter likes to bake and decorate just like me. :) Like mother like daughter.

See you tomorrow for my last layout with this kit.

Free with My Creative Scrapbook

It another month and another reveal with My Creative Scrapbook</a>!
This kit is so bright and cheery I was able to capture fun photos of my kids.

My kids are getting older so it makes me kind of sad that they don't enjoy going to the playground at the park much anymore. Once in a while Mason wants to go down to the playground during Sidney's softball games so I am sure to snap some photos of him.

Check back tomorrow for more ideas using the My Creative Scrapbook Creative kit.

Happy 15th Birthday

This is my final project showcasing the beautiful Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

I can't believe I have a 15 year old. Every time my oldest has a birthday I realize just how old I am getting. Gah!  She is only 6 month away from getting her driving permit and I'm about to have a heart attack about it. I think I'll make her stick with the little bike on the page for just a little longer. ;)

I hope you enjoyed the release this week. Make sure to pop on over to the My Creative Scrapbook site to pick up a kit of your own.

Bright and Happy with My Creative Scrapbook

The best smiles are those that are genuine and not staged. I love to be silly and make my kids laugh while I'm photographing them so I can capture their real expressions

I am always blown away at how fast my kids are growing and my younger daughter is no exception. At a glance I notice how much she is blossoming into a little woman. I love this girl!

You can get your own Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

This Sweet Girl

This week I am sharing projects that I made using the April Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook. I had a ton of fun getting creative with these cute papers.

My beautiful niece does modeling for local photographers and artist. It's nice because a professional can take the great pictures and I can take them and scrap them. Ha!

For this simple card I mimicked a rainbow using left over scraps and placed cut out clouds on top of them. You can never have enough thank you cards.

Check out the DT Gallery for more ideas using this kit and the many other kits offered this month.

Wonderful Friends

I have more to share using the Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

I love my friends! I love how much fun I have with them and the fact that they accept me for me. I can be weird, complain or be silly and they never judge.

This layout have alot of dimension from the torn background to the 3D pinwheels. I know you all have seen how to make pinwheels online over and over so I won't bore you with those details.

Till tomorrow!

Rain, Rain Go Away

Oddly enough, it actually is raining today after a beautifully warm weekend. ;)
I love Spring, it's my favorite season. I love the warming weather, the beautiful flowers and blossoms, and the grass greening up. The Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook is so beautifully Springy. I love it!

See what I mean? LOVELY!
I had so much fun with this kit which includes Simple Stories' Fresh Air collection.

My cute doggy sometimes gets stuck outside when its raining. Sometimes she just plays ball outside in the rain and I think she likes it that way. We love that sweet dog!!
I used the rain, cloud, and umbrella themes from the kit because we do get a lot of April showers here in Virginia (like most places). I fussy cut the flowers from the included floral patterned paper and placed them in a nice cluster.

Stay tuned, I will be making a sketch based off of this layout.

Cutie with My Creative Scrapbook

Have you got your hands on any of the March kits from My Creative Scrapbook? Trust me, you will love them!! I LOVED working with the Main kit this month, and I really love how all of my projects turned out.

.
Sadly, my youngest son missed over a week and a half of school due to Mono. To keep him occupied we found it would be a good time to learn to tie his shoes. He learned only after a few lessons and we both couldn't be prouder. He was so pleased with himself!

And finally, I made a cards with a few of my leftover scrap papers. The typewriter looks like a stamped image but it is actually a chipboard piece. You can never have enough Birthday cards laying around.

1-2-3 Smile with My Creative Scrapbook

I have more to share! :)
I love that my brother and sister-in-laws took a nontraditional Christmas photo this year, it makes for a great scrapbook page. I love that even the baby took part in the crazy faces. Haha!

The Main kit includes a bag full of die cut elements with fun shapes, many are featured on this page like the camera, flowers, numbers, arrows and hearts. The possibilities are endless with what you can create.
Get your kit HERE and thanks for checking out my blog today.

Happy Birthday

I must admit, I don't scrap too many birthday layouts. I've always found it a little challenging. The March Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook includes party/birthday elements that encouraged me to actually scrap a birthday layout.
I am a cake decorator so I made this fish cake for my husband. It was fun to hear my kids react with a "Ew!!!" as I cut off the fish head and placed it in the bowl. Ha ha, so funny!

Aren't these chipboard elements fun? I love the pinwheel.

Get your kit HERE.

See you tomorrow!

Reveal Week with My Creative Scrapbook

The March kits from My Creative Scrapbook are here and they are FABULOUS! I had the privilege of playing with the Main kit which featured papers from My Mind's Eye (one of my all-time FAVES).

Gorgeous, right??

For this look, I cut the striped/diamond paper to make extra large arrows for my background. The colors in those stripes were a little bright so I lightly brushed them with a white wash to blend more into the wood grain background.

Check back tomorrow and the rest of the week to see more of what I did with this kit. In the meantime, check out what the DT created and get a kit of your own HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!
