I "Wisk" you a Merry Christmas
Hello and Merry Christmas! We are only 2 days away from the big day. Do you need a quick and easy gift idea for a neighbor or loved one?
Many of you know that I work in a bakery so I thought it'd be appropriate to give a few of my co-workers a gift that is baking-related.
I made these cute little paper aprons from Best Creation's cute kitchen collection called Mom's Kitchen. I bought a wisk from the dollar store to attach to each.
Have a great weekend!

Blonde Beauties with Creative Charms
Inspiration can come from the strangest of places. While washing my hands one day I noticed the design on this bottle of hand soap.
Which now became this...
Funny how inspiration can come from anywhere if you just pay attention.
Today I used supplies from Creative Charms. This is a sneak peak of what you'll find in this month's Deal of the Month.
You'll fins super cute embellies in this month's assortment. I love all of the sparkly, wintery blues.
Have a great day!

Here comes Santa Clause...here comes Santa Claus
...right down Candy Cane Lane! Ho! Ho! Ho!
This month's kit from Birds Of A Feather includes a 6x6 Tim Holtz Grungebook with 12 pages. That's alot of pages, hugh?
I decided to theme my album around the kids' visits with Santa. The pictures on the left are from 2010 and the pics on the right are this year's Santa photos. It is so fun to see how much the kids have grown in just one year. (Not to mention how Santa has changed. LOL!)
What's more appropriate than making the Santa cover look like Santa.
The hardware and felt are from my stash but the rest is from the kit.
Inside Cover
Mason
Parker
Sidney
Makenzie
There are 5 kits left in stock so go get yours!! You'll love it!

Traditions with Birds Of A Feather
Hellloooo!
Today I have two layouts to share with you using the beautiful December kit from Birds Of A Feather.
My theme for both of them are based on traditions.
Every Christmas time we go to Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the beautiful Christmas lights. The lights are beyond gorgeous and the atmosphere is always joyful and exciting.
The fun glitter cuts from Fancy Pants are great! You can tuck them in anywhere and they look good. ;)
---------------------------------
My next tradition is all about the gingerbread houses. We either buy a kit or make our own every year. The kids love making them!
What are some of your holiday traditions??

Sketch 139
We decorated our Christmas tree with the kids yesterday...so much fun! The following sketch reminds me of a giant ornament so I chose this as our sketch this week. :)
If you decide to try the sketch, leave me a comment with a link to your layout and I'll add it to the blog for an example.
Have a great week!

Joy
December is upon us, can you believe it? Where has the year gone?
I just got done playing with the FABULOUS November Deal of The Month from Creative Charms. If you love bling and ribbon (who doesn't?), this packet of goodies really has all you need for your holiday projects and what a deal!!
I made this layout using an old T-shirt stretched inside of an embroidery hoop.
I added a few sparkling snowflakes from the Winter Medley. The red, green and diamond brads worked well to look like sparking ornaments and string of lights.
The pretty ribbon included in the Deal of The Month worked perfect for my background and it gave my layout plenty of color.
I also made this simple Holiday card by cutting out a doily using my die cut machine. The "berries" and bow really turned this doily into a pretty wreath.
Other papers and supplies used on these projects are from the fun Birds Of A Feather December kit.
Happy crafting!

Winter Wedding Cake
Hello! Just a quick drop in to share the cake I made for a client over the weekend. The bride chose the design, the cake is red velvet with cream cheese buttercream. Smart girl, that is the yummiest combination ever!
Have a happy Thursday!

Christmas Sleigh with Birds Of A Feather
Check out the new December kit from Birds Of A Feather, it is so festive and just plain gorgeous!
I am having a blast with it so far.
I bought this wooden sleigh at a local thrift store several months ago and I have been waiting (almost impatiently) to alter it. This kit I got in the mail is PERFECT for it.
I painted all of the sides bright red before applying the paper and ModgePodge to give it a finished look.
For the presents I wrapped wooden blocks from my stash with cute Christmas paper and finished them off with a bow, tag and a poinsettia.
Want to know how to make this tree?
Step 1. Cut out 7-8 green circles ranging from 1 1/2 inches to 4 inches.
Step 2. Fold each circle in half, then in half again and again until you have 4 points.
Step 3. Poke a hole in each circle large enough for a 1/8 inch wooden dowel to poke through. Poke them all through starting with the smallest to biggest. Use your hot glue gun to attach each circle to the dowel so they don't slip off.
You're done! You can add ornaments to your tree or add some sparkly faux snow.
Thanks for looking! :)

Last of the Birds Of A Feather NOV kit
I just got my December kit from Birds Of A Feather in the mail and its full of wonderful Christmas bliss. But before I jump into that one, I need to share with you the last of my projects using the November kit. There is still one left by the way.
Its been a while since I made a round LO, it was about due. :)
Together
I added a few Cheery Lynn Designs on here as well.
Our Heritage
This is my cute hubby with his beautiful mother. I did planty of fussy cutting on this layout. Its always a nice, easy way to fill in space.
This jounaling tag is the new color resist journaling tag from Pink Paislee. They are so fun. Simply spray it with your favorite spritz spray and the design shows through.
Finally, the kit included a full sheet of Bo Bunny chipboard. I used the largest clock on the sheet for this card. I had a cool screw-looking brad in my stash that worked perfect for the center of the hands.

Fall Treats
Its another busy week at the bakery...mainly pies, rolls and such but I have been making some cute Thanksgiving/ Fallish treats too.
Pardon my picture quality. I have a new phone and it doesn't excel in the photo taking department.
Turkey Cupcakes. I love the looks on their faces, they're not really that dumb, are they?
This here is a super yummy truffle cake. It started out like a normal 2layer cake but added melted truffle to the top. Yum!
Ruffles are all the rage in cake decorating right now. I made this 2 tiered cake for my mother in law's birthday. After I ruffled it I sprayed it with fall colors using my air brush machine. Yes, I know....I've been told by several children that it looks like a giant candy corn.
And finally...My DH's grandmother recently celebrated her 80th birthday. I made this cake and cupcake stand for the event.
