More Winter Wonderland

Yesterday I shared a few projects using the Winter Wonderland collection from Die-Versions. Today I have a few more to share.
DV Liz Fireplace Ornament.jpg

Another BEAUTIFUL die is the Cozy Fireplace die.  It is so detailed and perfect as it is. Again, I cut the die out in several different colors and pieced it back together. I added a few dots of red glitter for berries and rhinestones for the fireplace swag.  I adhered the finished die to a small embroidery hoop and I now have a new ornament for my Christmas tree.

DV Liz All Bundled Up card.jpg

I made this card using the All Bundled Up die along with the Sweet Petite Snowman. I cut the snowman in white, black and brown and pieced him back together before giving him a warm scarf to complete the look.

You can see these and more ideas using DV dies on Die-Versions BLOG.

Winter Wonderland with Die-Versions Dies

I know some of you are getting snow already, here in Virginia we're not that lucky...yet. Die-Versions has a beautiful collection out called "Winter Wonderland". It is GOEGEOUS! I have a few projects to share using these fabulous dies.

Here I used the following dies:
Bundled Up Enhanced Spot
Snowman Sweet Petite die
Hat and Mittens whisper die

DV Liz Holiday Wishes card.jpg
Isn't this Polar Bear just the cutest? I added footprints in the snow and glittered snowflakes to complete the chilly, wintery scene

My Creative Scrapbook Release Day 4

It's Day 4 and the final day of showcasing the layouts and cards I made using the beautiful December Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

Every year our church puts on an amazing Christmas party with food, a Holiday program and games. I love our church! This year my boys got to be apart of a little skit which they performs so cutely!

I had plenty of leftover scraps from my kit so I used them to make a few cards. It wouldn't be Christmas without cards, right?

I hope you get your hand on this kit, I'm sure they will be going quick!

Thanks for looking!

My Creative Scrapbook Release Day 3

Moving along with release week using this beautiful Christmas kit from My Creative Scrapbook...

We use to buy artificial trees because it was easier and more cost efficient, but we missed the fun of finding "our" tree and of course the great pine smell so we have been cutting down our own tree from Christmas tree farms for the past few years. The adventure and memories are so fun, I know the kids will look back and remember those good times.
Last year, while searching for a Christmas Tree farm we took a detour and stopped at Harper's Ferry. The little town is so adorable and the history is incredible. That was a great day!

Thanks for stopping by today!

My Creative Scrapbook November kit

Hello all! Its been a while since I've made a post of my blog. I guess I've been busy with my kids and starting up my cake business. Not too busy for scrapping!

This month's main kit from My Creative Scrapbook is full of Autumn gorgeousness. I feel like stores are trying to sway us to skip this season and start buying for Christmas but its just too beautiful to skip! Especially here in northern Virginia, it's stunning outside right now. I feel very blessed.

Last year we took our own family pictures during the peak of this season's beauty. I made a page for each of my children's photo.

You can get your own Main Kit HERE or choose from the other three kits available.

Thanks for stopping by!

Practical Scrappers Sept Sketch

Hello all! The September sketch on Practical Scrappers is up on the blog.

So here is my question for the day. If you are a girl between the ages of 12 and 13, how do you remain cool when your parents drag you to Chuck E Cheese for your little brothers to play?
Answer: You grudgingly enter the premises and hog up the photo booth, posing like a supermodel with duck lips and sexy facial expressions.

Haha! These girls crack me up.

Check out more ideas on the Practical Scrappers blog using this sketch.

Its Sketch Challenge Time!

Check my previous post for the Die-Versions Blog Hop.

Are you all ready for a sketch challenge? If so, you are in luck because we have a fun one over at My Creative Sketches.
First let me show you the prize pack to get you really interested. ;)

Interested yet? is the sketch...

The designers did a fabulous job showcasing the possibilities for this sketch. Here is what I created:
Some might think its odd to scrapbook a page about your child seeing the dentist but I thought my son would have a screaming melt-down at the dentist office (I was preparing for it) but he didn't at all. I love that the dentist offices cater so well to children now with earphones to watch TV and listen to music. It was such a relief.

All of the sketch challenge detail can be found HERE.
Deadline is October 14th.

Good luck and have fun!
