Proud
I just wanted to stop before church to wish you all a very happy Memorial Day weekend. Since I have to work tomorrow we are celebrating today.
I am so proud to be an American and I appreciate soldiers that serve my country with all my heart. I realize that there are so many unseen heroes out there.
Let me share a layout I made using the fantastic red, white and blues... which I love so much. I thought it is appropriate for this weekend.
These awesome papers are from the I Love America line from Best Creation.
Have a wonderful day!

Summertime HOP with Best Creation
Welcome! Grab your suntan lotion and a towel and get ready for a fun Summertime Hop with the Best Creation DT to get some great ideas to get caught up with old summer photos and lots of ideas for inspiring you for this summer too!!
Our first stop on this weekend hop is right here on my blog and then off to a idea packed hop with the rest of the team and our Guest Designer for this month Shannon Morgan...
And of course we have lots of chances to win some of our New June releases and 6x6 mini packs too. Be sure and leave a comment on either Facebook or the blog or sign up as a new Follower!!!
And of course our DT loves, loves, loves to hear from you so leave them comments too!!
I made this LO of my cute kid cooling off in the pool in our neighborhood rec center. I used one of my favorite Best Creation collections, "Surf's Up" along with BC's fabulous glittery cardstock.
I thought it would be fun to add some mini beads to my layout for some added dimension. Helmar is known for its AMAZING adhesives so this time around I used the Gemstone Glue. It dries clear and doesn't cloud up the beads. Love that!
Now hop on over to Katarina Damm's blog to see what fantastic summer project she has in store for you.
Have fun!

Born To Fish
It's no secret...I love flowers!
Cheery Lynn Designs makes it so easy to create lush outdoor scenes full of flowers, trees and vines.
I made the following layout of my husband's favorite hobby (dare I say obsession) and though there is a lot of detail work, it may look like it took a long time to put together but it really didn't.
As soon as I have the vision in my head of what I want to do, I cut several pieces from the Pretty Petal dies, Sweet Williams flower dies, Floral Heart die and the flourish die. After I have several cut from each, I arrange them on my LO and it comes together so quickly.
I also used these dies on my layout:
Cardinal in a Tree
Christmas Tree
Micro Mini Alphabet
Heart Chain Border
The papers I used are from one of the newest collections from Best Creation called Gone Camping. I love it!

Shiny, Happy Butterflies
This week on the Cheery Lynn Designs BLOG we are crazy about butterflies. Who wouldn't? -The new butterfly releases from Cheery Lynn Designs are gorgeous!
This week I made a LO using one of the Exotic Large Butterfly dies.
The butterfly is so detailed on its own but I decided to add even more. I added some cute rhinestones and half pearls along with colored glitter glue.
To make the lattice in the large die cut circle, I cut out several of the Large Window dies and adhered them all together. I like the look because it reminds me of a butterfly net.
Here is my complete list of dies used:
Large Window
Exotic Large Butterfly
Embossed Hearts Scalloped Border
Buttons3
Bird On A Branch2
Heartland America XL die (flower)
Thanks for looking!

Born To Shop
Happy Thursday to you!
I think women are naturally "born to shop" and these girls in my photo are no exception...they start young. I made this layout using The Scrappiest sketch 119
Check out the new Heartland Americana die from Cheery Lynn Designs . (This is the XL version.) This die cuts out the flowers and heart which can be taken apart or kept together. See how I took out the flower and then attached it again using foam adhesive? I love the look, makes it pop out a little.
And how cute are these flip flops?! The flip flop die includes petals to make your own flower near the toes. Summer is coming up and I know I will be using this die A LOT!
Here is my complete list of dies used today:
flip flops
Heartland Americana die
Little Circle Stacker
Pennant die
Dotties Ric Rac
Papers this week are again from Sweet Peach Crop Shop's May main kit.

Forever baseball
I have a few more projects to share using the Baseball collection from Best Creation Inc..
About a year ago I was in a thrift store and I told my oldest son he could pick something out that was cheap. (Of course, he was only 6.) He came running to me with this cheap looking wooden baseball rack. I immediately told him no, we have enough crap but he insisted so I bought it.
When my BC package arrived this month I was so excited that I could now fix up my son's baseball rack. I absolutely LOVE IT! And it's super functional!!
First I painted it brown, let it dry and then covered away using the perfect paper ever!
What's even nicer is that when he's ready to play, he knows where all of his gear is. No more yelling throughout the house that he can't find his favorite mitt. :)
Have a great weekend!
