Is it ok...

to LOVE your own creations? Because I totally do.
I made this LO for this month's challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog. The challenge is to follow a given sketch and make your own hand made flowers, plus instructions. I have lots of MME products and I love to make flowers so I thought, why not?

For the flowers I made a poinsettia, rose, poppy and stacked flower.

I also incorporated this LO for another challenge

I also made this sleigh that I think turned out adorable. I've had this wooden sleigh in the garage for a few years just waiting to be dressed up. When my kit from Jen's House Of Scrap arrived yesterday I knew today was the day. I covered it with papers from Collage Press's "Joyride". I embellished it with chipboard from BG's "Eskimo Kisses" and wonderful findings from the thrift store.

I made the rose using instructions from the amazing Tim Holtz and everything got a nice coat of Shimmerz paints. I truly love that stuff!!

Thanks for letting me share!

Are you ready for this week's sketch? Great, here it is:

Wowzers Serendipity!!

The December kits at Serendipity Scrapbooks are now here, fabulous and for sale! Every month they offer 3 kits to choose from. Here are December's choices...

I Deserve It All kit

Altered Kit

Just Enough Please kit

Fabulous right? This month I got to play with the Just Enough kit. It was my first time using Webster's Pages. Man, they're beautiful papers! I was worried I didn't have any appropriate pictures to match but I think I managed ok.

Just Call Her Superwoman
My mother-in-law raised 6 boys (often terribly behaved boys) so ya, she's superwoman in my book. She's just not wearing the cape. My cute hubby is the one on the right.

One BIG Happy Family

Again, this is my husband's family. Big, hugh? The best times to get together for these types of pictures is for either a wedding or a funeral. Unfortunately this was taken after Grandpa Anderson's burial.

Sunny

This is our Border Collie Sunny. Isn't she cute? I just love this dog. I swear she's half human -she's just so good and so smart.

Timeless Beauty

This is my mother-in-law and one of my sisters-in-law. (A few of my favorite women.) Aren't you loving this paper? Notice the clock hand? - It's included!

The Perfect Pear

Also included in the kit were these BG Nook&Pantry papers. They are just sooo cute in person!

Thanks for lookin!
