I made this cake last weekend for a friend's granddaughter who loves anything princess, especially Princess Sophia. I did not put Princess Sophia herself on top of the cake but used the colors and style of her dress the whole way through and topped the three layers with a crown of jewels.

Hello! Today's weather here in No. Virginia is absolutely gorgeous and that puts me in a great mood. It's 72 degrees! I'll take it and love it after the heat wave we had last week...yuck!

I scored a bunch of embroidery hoops at a yard sale for cheap...because, well, I am cheap. ;) I use to do a lot of cross stitching but not any more.
