Summer Continues...

I know some of you know or have children that are back in school already. We get out so late here in Virginia that my kids don't go back until the first part of September so we still have a little time to enjoy summer.
Die-Versions just realeased their fall dies -what a beautiful collection that is! Along with the gorgeous fall dies they've created these cool Corner Concept dies. These are large corners, not your regular size corners so they are great for larger photos or to be placed behind the photo for a really cool affect.
I chose to arrange them together to create a custom chevron look.

Also new to this collection are the Half Pints like the one with 2013 on it. I really love those!

My Creative Scrapbook GDT Day 5

These are the last of my projects created with the My Creative Scrapbook August Main kit.

I wanted this page to look a little bit masculine so I grabbed kraft paper from my stash and used it for the background.

This cute little guy wouldn't scare a fly but he sure is the sweetest little lion I've ever seen. My husband's brother and his wife make the cutest kids, I swear! They are all so sweet and squooshy.

My Creative Scrapbook GDT Day 4

I am LOVING this kit from My Creative Scrapbook. Seriously, the whole kit is just so pretty! I worked with the main kit this month but the Creative kit and Album kits are just as gorgeous.

Some days my oldest daughter is really good about playing with her younger siblings. I say "some days" very liberally, little brothers can be especially annoying.
It warms my heart like nothing else to see them all play together and enjoy each others' company.

I also threw a card into the mix.

Its a happy day, its a wonderful day. I love my girls, I think they are just so cute! What a better way to show happiness than with a big, giant sun and flowers.

My Creative Scrapbook GDT Day 2

As promised, I have more to share using the main August kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

Its easy to see beauty everyday when you have a beautiful dog. ;) She is a pure bread Yellow Border Collie and we love her to death. She has so much personality and is just so sweet. Everywhere we take her people stop and point, she is just so pretty. I think she knows it too. Ha!

Again, I enjoyed creating with these beautiful papers. Get a kit for yourself, you'll love it!

My Creative Scrapbook GDT!

I was VERY excited to get asked to be a guest designer for My Creative Scrapbook this month! I was sent the cutest kit ever!
Check it out!

This kit includes papers from the Echo Park's Beautiful Life collection along with several other goodies like Prima flowers, Pink Paislee butterflies, ribbon and chipboard from Leaky Shed. Talk about cute! This kit was right up my ally.

While my kids are celebrating school being out, I plan on jumping with joy when school starts up again!!!! You moms know what I'm talking about, right? ;)

Sunday Sweets: Princess Sophia

I made this cake last weekend for a friend's granddaughter who loves anything princess, especially Princess Sophia. I did not put Princess Sophia herself on top of the cake but used the colors and style of her dress the whole way through and topped the three layers with a crown of jewels.
